Today we are discussing Human Development: Making the Most of Digital Resources.

Human Development: Making the Most of Digital Resources
Homeschool high schoolers are coming of digital age. A number of high school text publishers are developing downloadable textbooks. 7 Sisters is right there, too! Human Development from a Christian Worldview is just one of our downloadable textbooks.
Here are some great ways to make the most of a digital curriculum:
1) Download textbook and save it to your desktop (rather than print it).
This saves ink and paper, is fashionably “green” and is appealing to many homeschool teens who enjoy doing their work on computers. (Just remember where you saved it! But even if you don’t remember, 7Sisters can help you if it gets lost.)
2) Complete questions and tests right in the book.
It is an editable PDF! That’s right! Your homeschool high schoolers will simply add their answers right in the text on their computer. They can even email it to you to check their answers, if you want.
3) Supplement the textbook with videos, articles, and activities found online AND with 7Sisters’ lesson plans guide.
A great place to look for these is to check out my Pinterest board and Sabrina’s Pinterest board. These include resources we used in homeschool group classes and co-op classes. 7Sisters’ Lesson Plans include links to videos and extra activities that make the text even more interesting (great for homeschool co-ops and group classes or more in-depth study).
My teens have really prefered doing their homeschool coursework on their laptop over handwriting questions and tests. If you haven’t tried it yet, download Human Development and experience a fun digital Health credit.
